“The depth of information for my child was impressive.”
This all-inclusive, literature-based curriculum provides detailed lesson plans created around thematic units with a biblical worldview. These units cover skills in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Physical Development, Fitness, Fine Arts, Character Development, and Bible. The teacher’s manual includes step-by-step instructions, activities for different learning styles, all practice worksheets for each lesson, reading practice pages, enrichment activities to challenge advanced learners, patterns for art projects, handwriting guidelines, and an appendix with resources.
Student workbook pages are designed to reinforce the daily concepts and are a required part of the curriculum.
Everything for each semester is in one sturdy binder to help keep parents organized, and to simplify the sometimes overwhelming process of homeschooling. Pages are copied on durable paper that withstands daily use and are easily removable for daily use or homeschool on the go.
Spend time with your child-not planning! The program is easy for the parent to prepare and follow, and truly contains everything you need for a complete program.
Use the microscope and eye dropper, flashcards, bingo and memory games, square tiles, dice, protractor, and a ruler to help teach your child concepts and words from within the curriculum. A Bible verse chart, a hundred chart, number line, place value boards, a twelve-month calendar, and a student journal are also a part of this semester one bundle.
“One thing I personally like about this curriculum is the use of reading activities that are grade appropriate using books that the kids actually like. A Year with Miss Agnes was a new-to-us book and the kids really enjoyed it, so much so that my son, who absolutely hates to read aloud, was more than happy to pull his weight and read his half of the assigned reading.” Brenda, homeschool mom.
