"This program is effectively teaching my son how to read, and he is now asking to read."
Help your beginning reader develop confidence in reading with comprehension. The program combines phonics and sight word recognition skills to teach a child how to read fluently and expressively.
The daily lessons incorporate the use of flashcards, games, activities, and independent written practice.
The child will learn to read short vowel words and sight words within context. Language arts skills of spelling, punctuation, grammar, handwriting, and reading comprehension are included.
This program is designed to be self-paced, and the child should master the lesson’s skills before moving on to the next lesson.
Student workbook refill pages are designed for each additional child using the Reading Complete curriculum or for children who may need additional practice on daily concepts.
The student workbook pages are used to reinforce the daily concepts and are a required part of the curriculum, so each additional child will need his own workbook.
This content is included in the Kindergarten Complete curriculum.
