"A fun way to teach a variety of language and reading skills."
This self-paced reading program is designed to help young readers continue to develop confidence in reading with comprehension. The program combines phonics and sight word recognition skills to teach a child how to read fluently and expressively.
The daily step-by-step lessons incorporate the use of flashcards, games, activities, and independent written practice.
The child will learn to read long vowel words, words with consonant blends, words with double vowels, words with prefixes and suffixes, contractions, and sight words within context. Language arts skills of spelling, punctuation, grammar, handwriting, and reading comprehension are included.
This program is designed to be self-paced, and the child should master the lesson’s skills before moving on to the next lesson.
