First Grade Scope and Sequence for Secular Homeschool

This kid-friendly, secular-worldview curriculum is designed to meet the needs and challenge the abilities of first grade students. At Homeschool Complete, we believe learning should be fun. The open-and-go curriculum is purposefully written to help parents have an enjoyable year effectively teaching their children.

First Grade is a continuation of the skills that were taught in kindergarten and another part of the foundation of a lifelong process of learning. The goal of this curriculum is not only to teach academic facts but also to instill higher-level thinking and problem-solving skills that create a love of learning.
